“The best thing to give to your enemy is forgiveness; to an opponent, tolerance; to a friend, your heart; to your child, a good example; to a father, deference; to your mother, conduct that will make her proud of you; to yourself, respect; to all men, charity.”

Benjamin Franklin

Association of Fundraising Professional- Greater Philadelphia Chapter, the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, andPHLDiversity a business development division of the Philadelphia Convention & Vistor's Bureau Present:

In April 2018, the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance released its newest research report, “Beyond the Check: A Roadmap for Engaging Individual Donors.” A key theme that emerged is a lack of diversity among non-profit leadership and fundraising professionals---meaning that a solid portion of potential donors are being neglected: donors of color. Studies show that donors of various ethnic backgrounds may operate outside of conventional philanthropic systems, and would give more, if only they were included in the conversation.

Please join us in exploring how we can begin to bridge this critical disconnect between wealth in Philadelphia and support for the good work of our organizations, meetings, and conventions.
