“The best thing to give to your enemy is forgiveness; to an opponent, tolerance; to a friend, your heart; to your child, a good example; to a father, deference; to your mother, conduct that will make her proud of you; to yourself, respect; to all men, charity.”

Benjamin Franklin

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and social unrests, many of us in the fundraising sector are becoming more aware of social issues that disparately affect communities of color. At the same time, we see donors of color giving significant sums to address these and other causes.

In this session, you will gain a greater understanding of developing donor trends in diverse communities and examples of how you can support and attract donors of color to your organization. We will also discuss new groups that support fundraisers of color, how to be a good ally, and recognize the way we do fundraising may be furthering the injustices our organizations are tackling. Participants are encouraged to engage throughout the conversation by sharing questions and experiences.

Please note: once you have registered, you will receive an emailed link to register via Zoom 1 day prior to the program
