You’ve no doubt been bombarded with webinar after webinar focused on the COVID-19 crisis, its implications for your organization, and a plethora of strategies for making the best of this disheartening – and often devastating – situation. This timely advice has been vital for many organizations as they seek to carry out their missions with fewer resources, to delay layoffs and other significant and impactful decisions, and to simply make ends meet this year. The short- and long-term effects of this crisis are so unclear for many nonprofits.

This webinar, however, focuses on preparing for the post-pandemic period which, unfortunately, will result in a recession. Specifically, we will focus on things you should be thinking about and doing right now to prepare for a successful recovery. We will reflect on those strategies that worked best for the firm’s clients back in 2008-2009 and share how they are currently working with clients to rapidly assess where they are at right now and to determine where they want to be in 6, 12 and 18 months. We’ll cover the questions you need to be asking now to inform your roadmap to recovery later.

No one can predict what the future holds, especially for the nonprofit sector, in this time of such uncertainty. But, organizations are positioned better than ever to engage and mobilize leadership, staff and volunteers in the activities that will best position them for successful navigation through it.
