“The best thing to give to your enemy is forgiveness; to an opponent, tolerance; to a friend, your heart; to your child, a good example; to a father, deference; to your mother, conduct that will make her proud of you; to yourself, respect; to all men, charity.”

Benjamin Franklin

Making the Case for Support: A Hands-on Workshop

February 28, 2019
8:00 AM - 11:00 AM
 Add to Calendar

Temple University Center City (TUCC)
1515 Market Street Room 222

 Directions

We invite organizations to send multiple members from their development and/or development communications staff to participate in a hands-on workshop that will explain the case making process and give attendees the opportunity to craft messaging and case language. Participants will receive a brief set of questions to answer in advance of the session. Armed with the basics, and working in small teams, each institution will develop language and present it to the group for review and feedback. The goal of the session is to familiarize participants with the process -- both in theory and in practice -- so that they can assist their organization in developing an actual case for support. We will also review storytelling and the importance of images. It is recommended that each organization send at least two people.
